Ethical rap continues....

Then there was dis conversation that got me thinking more about it.

vaidehi: dont u talk about my akshay kumar

prateek: your akshay kumar.. lol.. i dinno u wer so sensitive abt Him..

vaidehi: listen ... u cannot act a percent of what he does

prateek: u've not seen me acting dear lol??

vaidehi:its not just him its anyone, u cant do a bit of what they do so u have no right to comment

prateek: and how many of the critics who review the movie or talk abt them kno how to act

vaidehi:you just say whether u like it or no, not whether other person can or not

prateek:so yea i dint like the movie and i dint like His acting so i did comment ..

vaidehi: excuse me ... lemme tell you. we have been studying this and .... this is what we are told in class 'critics or reviewers are supposed to just review the movie and nt give their personal opinion, not inspire people to go watch or pull down the movie so that they dont watch its unethical

vaidehi: acha ... n m not fighting with you. i just feel its wrong, it hurts the emotion of someone who really works hard upon it

prateek:This is how it works... dear in business schools they teach u abt business etHics and principles but how many of dem go up with their ethics intact

vaidehi: are you saying its cool to not follow ethics?

prateek: its not cool.. but its a part and parcel...

prateek: if u praise a movie and u inspire ppl to go and watch it.. then its the other way round too..

vaidehi: no are you saying its ok to do that

prateek: m tellin u naa... its a practical world out there.. a mean world.. u dont do at places u're required to u'll be the one standing alone..

prateek:move with the world.. not against it..!!

vaidehi: i dint know you think that way

prateek: i tHink practical.. and now dun put me on a spot and project me as a bad guy o sometHing.. who gives a fuck abt ethics and principles.. i have dose.. but u have to ignore dem at places

vaidehi: but you are wrng, and how muchever you people try or do whatever ... being on the wrong side will always pay you the wrong way back

prateek: i agree..!!

vaidehi: no you dont have to

vaidehi:u ignore them only if you want to fit in

vaidehi:i never ignore my principals ... to hell with people if i have to.... i'll rather live a life all alone then sacrifice my principals for whatver

prateek:lisen vaideHi.. nobody's a saint... and i am nobody..!!..u probably havent faced such sitiuations!!..wen u encounter some u'll come to kno.. how dirty it is..

vaidehi: but ........... about that ethics thing i dont know. like you dont have to follow the written rules but ..... you dont have to ignore them coz u have to achieve something. thats being mean and selfish and ... blaaaah

vaidehi: no i have faced many situations ... and even when i'll do, i wont whatever is right for whats wrong

vaidehi:i cannot forget what my parents taught me when i was 2 or 3 yr old

vaidehi:i dont know what to do if others wanna forget

now dis left me with a guilt pang...

i guess a long time to think abt all dis.. lets c what life has in store..!!
