Some one is Twenty-One-21

Yes the magical number has arrived. Finally turned 21 on 5th march 2009.

Not that i was waiting for it but many people made me realize that i have turned 21.

But trust me the last 2 days were fantabulous...every year my birthday seems to be more grand than the last year..

I feel lucky..blessed and proud to have such great parents and such amazing friends who went out of the way to make my birthday extra special.

It was awesome how the phone and da messages start pouring once it struck 12.

It was amazing how my friends asked me what i wanted for my birthday and got the swanky looking watch that i loved to the core.

It was awesome how my untidy and disorgranized carefree friends gift wrapped a cool looking helmet which i dun even remember telling them some months ago that i needed a new one.

It was awesome how Tanya remembered that i love chocolate almond cake.

It was superb how Haldiya and Vyas arranged for a car on midnight so that we can just enjoy the night singing songs ( till we realized that the car papers were expired) and the night turned eventful all thanks to Aman.
Although i hated Vyas for wasting the cake on me literally rubbing it in my ears nose..god knows where all lol.
I was smelling of cake for almost 2 days.

My right bum was aching so much after these guys gave me birthday bums and hit me like they have some long lost frustration to remove on me. But its later i realized its their way to show love. haha..

It was amazing how Vikram who is miles away in USA.. still managed to wish me at dot 12 am.
It was amazing how Nikunj my bro who's in boarding wished me on my birthday after pleading the school authorities to let him call me.
It was nice when my parents let me have and drive the car on both the days even when they needed it.
It is wierd how i've just used 2 adjectives awesome and amazing thruout the post..guess i've lost my sense of words.
It is just life when people who care for you so much make your day memorable and special.
I feel I am blessed.

Aditya got a flavoured(fruit)(have to specify my dad reads my blog..lol) champagne bottle saying malpani now you are 21 and you are legal for everything lol..!!

Best was yash when I was trying to play the perfect host at Dynasty and was asking everyone whether anyone wants to order soup, and yash is like "look at him he's turning 21 and he's making us have soup for the ocassion"...lol..

u know how it works don't you.

All in all the day was fantastic.
With all the attention in college and all the caring and lovely phone wishes from relatives.

I feel like mentioning the names of some of my friends who really made the day wonderful whose memories will last atleast for an year till my next birthday comes.

I would like to thank all of you for making my day truly special.

-Haldiya
-Aditya
-Vyas
-Golu
-Chintu

-Akshay
-Vikram

Everything's Right when Everything's Right

Yes..its completely true cos i am experiencing it right now.
All you have to think is that everything happens for good.

I dont know I just have these positive vibes coming from somewhere since last year and everything's falling in place.

Everything is just picture perfect.

The perfect friends
The perfect atmosphere
The ever-perfect family
The perfect marks

*touchwood*

I just want this to go on and on.

Even the perfect timing of perfectness. ...lol.. if dats a word.

The day I was all set to go for a week's holiday to nagpur and chennai to attend my cousin's wedding.
When i was just tellin everyone that I am in holiday mood. God gave me a booster and gifted me with my marks. The moment Tanya told me when i was just half way through to college on the bike.. i started jumping and felt like flying.

I swear I would have done a wheely then and there.. but came back to my senses soon...haha

The wedding was just amazing.
The sangeet function,reception,pheras... everything was so much fun.
Yes even i danced...on stage and even in the procession.

The amount of sweets that i have had is just unbelieveable... you know how a marwari wedding is. You name the Indian sweet and i've had it and that too in rounds.

In competitions with the "ladki wale's"
I actually forgot how does a sour thing taste.

The love that the MALPANI family shares was awesome and the family is huge.
my dad has 3 brothers and 1 sister.

so we are 9 cousins(7 brothers and 2 sisters)

and then i have my nephews and neice calling me prateek chachu and prateek mama...

I was constantly being teased and mocked about me being next in LINE  as everyone elder to me is married and mayank bhaiya's wedding was the one i was attending so throughout the wedding it was just this .." teri line toh clear ho gayi" "you're next".. and i would just smile thinking still theres a lot of time.

I wanted a break from Mumbai from my college after the exams and i got it with the icing on the cake.

I just want it to be the way it is..and continue...forever...!!

Wine me Dine me...69 me..!!.. :p

Well.. dont go by the topic name and start imagining things already.

Its just that I am in love wid the number 69..!!

cos 69.62% that is what i scored in sem5 and i am so  happy and elated..!!!..
its lovely..!!..for all those who know me and how i use THE SECRET will know the importance and how big an achievement it is for me to score close to 70% in my third year engineering.

It wasnt easy.. trust me..!!..
i wont want to recall the tough days... of me being officially allowed to KEEP TERM by mumbai university in my first semester.. and how shattered i was.
But its back on track..!!

Since i dint hide anything about my failiures when i had.. i am gona boast equally about the success dat m enjoying now.

It was slow but its picking up pace.

Life's never been so smooth. My graph is gradually changing with an upward trend.
When i got 68% in semester 4 my aim was to score 70% so that I have an aggregate of 60% of the first five sems which are gona matter the most.
Now you can see how miserable I was in the first year of my engineering till i started getting a knack of how it works.

And that is exactly what happened.

But its not done yet... as they say " ROAD TO SUCCESS IS ALWAYS UNDER CONSTRUCTION"

So there are many things on my mind to be achieved... which may make the 70% i just scored meagre but well right now its all "wine me dine me and 69 me"...lol

Billu Re....!!!

Well I cant help but post about movies now.. thats all most become my self proclaimed forte considering m sucha huge bollywood freak and how much ever i resist writing about movies my fingers just cant be controlled. But i promise i wont post any movie review atleast for a month.I feel like Khalid Mohammad already...lol. And btw other reason being the lack of topics to write on so suggest me something.

So here i am to review the movie that I have been waiting eagerly for and I being the only person.
Billu.
First of all I find it stupid AND irritating that people actually found the "barber" offending in the title, to the "barber" community. Grow up!!!

None of my friends had even 1% excitement to go for the movie.Everyone i asked gave me a stern "no" back or a half hearted reply. Then i happened to read somewhere on the net that its a "family entertainer" so i was like cool lets watch it with family even where i had to push my mom and dad to the theatre.

Well I know I am damn biased about srk movies but still i try my level best to be impartial and give a genuine opinion on it.
So "genuinely" Billu is a light entertainer and a very simple movie with a pure neat and unadulterated story line. The movie is no doubt slow and the songs in which SRK is featuring almost all of them just hamper the pace even more in particular one song called " Ae aa o" actually hams into your ears and you just wait for it to get over and the song has a SRK VIDEO SLIDES running as the background with all the entry scenes of his movies.

Billu(Irfan Khan) is a barber whos gone to rags and has nothing to look for and almost touched the poverty line but is still dedicated and determined to his profession. He has a hot looking gaao ki chhori as his wife (lara dutta) and two adorable and funny kids. You connect with them instantly.
Then there's SRK playin saahir khan the big shot superstar and he decides to shoot in the village called BUDBUDA where billu lives but saahir has no clue about it.
But when the village people hear this, things go out of control beyond the imagination of billu and then there are sequences of comic tragic and emotional scenes to follow which takes the movie ahead.
First half is real slow with just the introduction of whats happening in both the protaganist's lives.
Second half and especially the climax is the main highlight of the movie after being given a mediocre first half.

Irfan Khan is the soul of the movie with amazing expressions during emotional scenes and outstanding comic timing and dialogue delivery.
Om Puri is also extra funny in his miser role.
Rajpal Yadav and Israni are wasted.
Music is ok although the picturization of the songs is sparkling.

Srk mainly is for the three songs to add the glamour quotient in the movie but the pre-climax 2 page dialogue scene proves it that he is one of the greatest actors alive today. When it comes to emotional scenes he's the best person in bollywood he does it with class.

I shall mention Deepika Padukone over here ... guys she's sizzling in the song. Lyrically the padukone song sucked but the video is amazing...she's the hottest out of the 3 special appearances.

The cinematography is first-rate where the village looked like an actual village given importance to minute details still looked rich on the big screen.
The movie could have been edited for good.

With a priyadarshan movie u expect madness and leave-your-brain-at-home comedy. But this one's a sensitive movie overall with a hint of laughter here n there.

All in all, after JAI-VEERU,MUNNA-CIRCUIT there could have been BILLU-SAHIR only if the movie was a bit more entertaining and gripping. So mixed reactions for this SRK home production expected.

If RAB NE BANA DI JODI can be called a documentary on LOVE...
BILLU is a documentary on FRIENDSHIP...

Dev D - Nothing emotional about this ATYACHAR

6th Friday the movie almost all my friends have been waiting for manly because of the super popular song emotional atyachar and secondly because of abhay deol's acting considering everyone loved oye lucky..!!
And i was completely zapped when i was attending my lectures i got a text from Neeti saying DEV D got 5 stars in the TIMES OF INDIA...!!.. i was like..!..woohh..!!..dats awesome!..this movie has to be something.
Luckily everything that day in college got cancelled.. and i was free and the entire built up was only helping me and pushing me to watch DEV D.
So there we were to watch a 5 star movie 1 pm show in da afternoon..

So how was it?..is it no smoking look alike or is it one more of abhay deol's classic or was it completely a trash..!!

In my opinion DEV D was nothing but mediocre and an ordinary flick.

The excitement was always there with the mordern version of DEVDAS.. while dev over here as in the srk devdas is arrogant self obsessed rich spoilt brat with a silver spoon and calls his dad by his name " sattu". Paro on the contrary is shown to be bold, beautiful at places, with instant repartee and new age chandigarh woman who doesnt mind sending nude pictures of herself for DEV. Such is the love that she has been saving her virginity and becomes a sex starving female with raging hormones
an actual mordern day paro.. eh?

Enter lenny aka chanda the chandramukhi of the movie who's the victim of a MMS SCANDAL taken inspiration from the dps case earlier.
Life takes a u-turn for her where she faces lewd remarks and humiliation and is isolated by friends and family. She has someone who gives her an option to study by day and play the ultimate fantasy for men by night.

The story line is really thin and nothing much to look for like the other DEVDAS's.. but still the creativity in the movie the character sketch of the three characters is rock solid.
Anurag Kashyap did manage to do his homework over here.

But that is dominated by the slow pace at which the movie runs.
Pre-interval portions do manage to impress you and the punjabi backdrop is funny at places with amazing dialogues but the other half of the movie has nothing but DEV running and hunting for alcohol, stalks paro by night, lives on marijuana and in the end CHANDA.

The entire narration has been done by close to 18 songs in the movie which keeps on coming at regular intervals only if they would have been better placed would have had a better impact cos after sometime they start irritating you.
Some of the songs that are no doubt worth listening are emotional atyachar , pardesi, duniya, nayan tarse. Excellent work.

All in all its Abhay deol and the two confident newcomers being the saving grace in this really ok but creative movie.
The camera work, cinematography , the delhi night life and red light area have been shown brilliantly.
The dialogues are great too.
Anurag Kashyap is an off beat director with a different understanding and out of the box thinking of his own. Critics did strike a chord with him in this piece.. i and my friends dint.
It is for sure new-age bollywood cinema but not entertaining.

When i was a child there were some movies that i really wanted to see but my parents would come and tell me.." its not for you."
This is one movie where i would tell my parents "ye aapke liye nahi hai"
Trust me if you're at all planning to see it with your parents it will be damn uncomfortable and heights of awkwardness.
The movie is a thumbs down from me. Watch Srk devdas again rather than this.

There's a sense of pleasure in Mediocrity?

Well it was my first "road to CAT" lecture in the classes i'd joined.
The first lecture was INTRODUCTION TO VOCAB
I thought the lecture's gona be interesting cos i have particular interest in learning and finding about new words although i keep on learning daily new " cool " slangs.. from here and there which are completely useless.

The professor looked very casual.. and in for an interaction session rather than a lecture.
Stupid nerdy questions started coming...

what newspapers to read?
what books to read?
how many books to read?
what should be the approach?( this was the nerd in me speaking)

to all the questions he answered this " dont ask me difficult questions"

The conversation went on and on... about different things..
he blasted SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE saying that it is nothing but commercialized entertainment to earn money and it doesnt showcase any of the true problems Mumbai is facing... his point was we will appreciate what this guy has projected about Mumbai only because it is winning academy awards but how many of the youngsters would actually even sit through a prithviraj chahuan or a satyajit ray movie which is another level to which movies like slumdog can never reach.

He said PAULO COELHO and ROBIN SHARMA( author of MONK WHO SOLD HIS FERRARI) are not great writers cos they  just hype and present the edited version of authenticity.Because none of the youngsters would make an attempt to find out the authentic version and where actually did all this originate from.
he also said Fiction except for getting you in the reading habit is of no use.
and the youngsters welcome such mediocre stuff cos there is immense pleasure in MEDIOCRITY...

he feels a person who is boring has to be intelligent... cos a person who's intelligent would'nt read write or see mediocre average stuff what more than half the world does.
But a person who's intelligent would have the passion for a quest for knowledge and pure unaldulterated literature cinema which are infact boring.

He gave us an advice on stop having "romantic ideas" about yourself and about your life and kept repeating it again and again.

Be realistic and practical and do before you preach.
When someone asked Him what to read?... he gave in a smirk and with the grin still on his face he answered "asking me what to read is same as asking me, sir who should i marry"

because whatever i tell you right now you'll find it boring...just like if i tell u to marry anyone
you wont agree...
but wen u're in love wid someone .. even if i give u a thousand options to marrying someone else you wont give in..
( i loved his point over here)
To do something you really need to have dat passion, da drive, da enthusiasm and da love for doing it.
And that is not achieved by giving in to  mediocrity but by quest for something concrete.

He went on to ask us about do we love what we are doing.
Since it was an engineering batch nobody raised their hands.
Then he asked if anyone liked any particular subject in engineering.. and again i cudn't see any hands up.
It was surprising.. we all are putting in 4 years of life doing what we dont enjoy just to get the degree which says B.E in computer engineering.
Then again he chipped in saying because you guys have taken the " tried tested and beaten path"
There should be a voice inside you which says this is what i like and i am going to excel in that no matter what.
That is what passion is all about.. that is when excellency takes over mediocrity and thats what youth is all about not just hormonal passion but a mental passion.

One more brilliant thing that he came up and which was actually really disturbing was when he asked us to name few people who you think are great legends the world has ever seen.

Mahatma Gandhi
Einstein
Newton
Nelson Mandela
Dhirubhai Ambani
Mother Teresa

The names kept coming in and there were close to 20 names on the board.
Then he asked now tell me one thing common in all these personalities.

The answer was " they all are dead"

I was like... **ck actually..!!
His point was is it just that some men do some great work and once they are dead somebody hypes them up and we blindly follow?
Why isnt a single person alive who can be on this board right now or are we too blind to find them amongst us and are we waiting for the person to die or someone else to recognize a legend between us.??

y cant there be a BARACK OBAMA more often.

Disturbing isnt it?

he gave some reasoning as to why CAT is not tough to crack just as how the other classes do to motivate their students.
But the lecture was thought provoking none the less..!

Lets where we all go...!!

( Sorry for such long posts i know there's no time to read such huge things but cant help it..i'll try to be precise from now on.. hehe)

Ethical rap continues....

( Please read the post below this before reading this.. the connection)
Then there was dis conversation that got me thinking more about it.

vaidehi: dont u talk about my akshay kumar

prateek: your akshay kumar.. lol.. i dinno u wer so sensitive abt Him..

vaidehi: listen ... u cannot act a percent of what he does

prateek: u've not seen me acting dear lol??

vaidehi:its not just him its anyone, u cant do a bit of what they do so u have no right to comment

prateek: and how many of the critics who review the movie or talk abt them kno how to act

vaidehi:you just say whether u like it or no, not whether other person can or not

prateek:so yea i dint like the movie and i dint like His acting so i did comment ..

vaidehi: excuse me ... lemme tell you. we have been studying this and .... this is what we are told in class 'critics or reviewers are supposed to just review the movie and nt give their personal opinion, not inspire people to go watch or pull down the movie so that they dont watch its unethical

vaidehi: acha ... n m not fighting with you. i just feel its wrong, it hurts the emotion of someone who really works hard upon it

prateek:This is how it works... dear in business schools they teach u abt business etHics and principles but how many of dem go up with their ethics intact

prateek:" criticsm always hurts"

vaidehi: are you saying its cool to not follow ethics?

prateek: its not cool.. but its a part and parcel...

prateek: if u praise a movie and u inspire ppl to go and watch it.. then its the other way round too..

vaidehi: no are you saying its ok to do that

prateek: m tellin u naa... its a practical world out there.. a mean world.. u dont do at places u're required to u'll be the one standing alone..

prateek:move with the world.. not against it..!!

vaidehi: i dint know you think that way

prateek: i tHink practical.. and now dun put me on a spot and project me as a bad guy o sometHing.. who gives a fuck abt ethics and principles.. i have dose.. but u have to ignore dem at places

vaidehi: but you are wrng, and how muchever you people try or do whatever ... being on the wrong side will always pay you the wrong way back

prateek: i agree..!!
vaidehi: no you dont have to
vaidehi:u ignore them only if you want to fit in

vaidehi:i never ignore my principals ... to hell with people if i have to.... i'll rather live a life all alone then sacrifice my principals for whatver
prateek:good for u if it works for u..!!

vaidehi:really m shocked to hear this from you
vaidehi: listen .... i know and i have seen people who work up the right way
vaidehi:i dont know how to react to this
vaidehi: like it was cool till, you saying you dont like an a particular actor ... its cool ... whatever i think is what i think na u can think ur way

prateek:lisen vaideHi.. nobody's a saint... and i am nobody..!!..u probably havent faced such sitiuations!!..wen u encounter some u'll come to kno.. how dirty it is..

vaidehi: but ........... about that ethics thing i dont know. like you dont have to follow the written rules but ..... you dont have to ignore them coz u have to achieve something. thats being mean and selfish and ... blaaaah

vaidehi: no i have faced many situations ... and even when i'll do, i wont whatever is right for whats wrong

prateek:u're awesome den!!..

vaidehi:achcha ... n its not about ur movies review ok its something else ...

prateek:duh i've not told u sometHing rilly non - existing phenomena..!!.. i'll forego my etHics and principles when it comes to people who do it themselves..

prateek:u're supposed to treat ppl as they are..

vaidehi: thats differnt

prateek:u play dirty with ppl who are dirty!!
prateek:i believe in karma ok..!!
prateek:give ppl what they give it to u..
prateek:and i guess.. u shud do da same..!!
prateek: to hell with tHinking abt ur etHics wen it comes to a person whos unetHical inside out..
prateek:wat say?

vaidehi:no i wud still follow ethics
vaidehi:i cannot forget what my parents taught me when i was 2 or 3 yr old
vaidehi:i dont know what to do if others wanna forget

now dis left me with a guilt pang...
i guess a long time to think abt all dis.. lets c what life has in store..!!

Ethics,Principles,Bull Sh**??

Ok i am not telling or announcing the title of my blog but m asking u guys if ETHICS PRINCIPLES AND BULL CRAP are under the same roof.

We were rolling in for a drive me and some friends of mine. With the casual talk Vyas came up with the statement " If someone has the guts and the balls try and swing it like Ramalinga Raju's way."
I mean vyas had a feeling of pride for him and that some how irritated me.
I jumped in and said " Kya hua end mai.. he ended up in jail"
All the others and vyas himself started laughing at me " We'll see how much time is he in"

I mean come on he duped  Satyam company of 7000 fuc*** crores. Showed many of the company's profit as his personal wealth and what not.

But the conversation went on and on with me sticking with one of the famous quotes that i've ever read " Success is more prominent when u achieve it without destroying your principles"

All of them started saying one of those things that even i must have said when somebody told me practical and sensible philosophy " Ye sab padhne ke liye and books mai accha lagta hai"
That got me more agitated but it was like a handicap match where everybody ridiculing me on talking about ethics and principles in today's world.

I mean i understand you have to forego ur ethics at some places and ignore ur age old principles at some places but there is somewhere you need to draw the line.

Their point was nobody has gone up and big without being unethical and putting aside principles.
And there is one in thousand like da satyam founder who gets caught while stealing and ripping of the company of its clothes.
They made sense.

Then me and vyas ended up watching this movie called WALL STREET.. which spoke a lot about what to do when you have huge mountain of money waiting for you and an excellent future but for that you will have to give emotions sentiments and the d word " ethics" and let thousand people hang in air without job and money on the streets and after the movie was done we exchanged these texts

VYAS: Real Good movie. Can learn something.

MALPANI:I told you.. now u c y i was talkin abt ehtics wen it comes to crucial times.Dat raju guy when he did dat scam he sold himself for money and ruined lives of so many working for years in the company. Its all about what your conscience decides whats rong and whats not.
It only sounds cool to be unethical it isnt in reality.

VYAS:Dude thousands in one just remember the ration then you will understand what i mean to say.If you even wana halp others you gota be someone big enough to make the difference and that big in this life is not that easy.Ambani laid down his ethics long back but see the difference his family is making in india by creating so many opportunities for everyone. It all depends on the way you do it without hampering the society to such an extent.

malpani.. is *confused*....
lol..!!..

Raaz - the mystery continues (Creepy)

So a long time after the hit RAAZ the bhatt camp come up with not exactly the sequel but 2nd one with the same name.

So hows it??.. Is it scary?.. Is it over the top?... Is it a movie with cheap thrills here n there?...
Well a bit of all..
For me Raaz - tmc works big time.
Its a good one time watch.
I always feel that BHATTS are the most under-rated film makers in the industry. I think they deserve an applause for the entertainment quotient in their movies.

But trust me if you are taking your brains in the movie hall and then wondering abt the questions like

how did this happen?
where did this come from?
what was the connection?

then i don't know if u'll like it or not?

I liked the movie.
Its scary( actually scared the shit out of me at places) .. and creepy..
And I am not gona say anything about the storyline cos thts the last thing that u're supposed to do with a horror or a thriller.

Kangana Ranaut plays partly a similar role as in FASHION.. but plays it well.. and for once her voice dint irritate me.
She acted her part well and i guess she's good in roles wear she has more of screaming and shouting and not speaking dialogues and looks amazingly pretty and yea being a mahesh bhatt movie the actress compulsorily need to wear those hot short pants and other skimpy clothes i guess that comes with the contract.

Emraan Hashmi plays a painter and revealing anything would be spoiling the fun .
No matter what people say putting aside his serial kisser image he's a good actor and what more it seems the Bhatt camp has struck gold casting him in all their movies and all of them being hits.
and nother plus point without taking away the credit from the ace music directors and singers that guy gets all the amazing songs for Himself.. i wont be surprised to see in the near future an EMRAN HASHMI discography.. lol. or its already der??

Now about the once upon a time TV BADSHAH SHEKAR SUMAN'S son.. ADHYAYAN SUMAN
That guy looks confident acted well specially towards da end climax scene.
Decent comeback after da initial disaster HAAL-E-DIL.

FACT : both the actors of HAAL-E-DIL were in a sort of a cold war before the movie released dat who's the lead actor in the movie and after the movie released both kept on denying it lol.

The music and the horror theme is the USP of the movie.
The songs are already duper hits MAAHI AND SONIYO and do lisen to the rock version of MAAHI too... TOSHI( star voice of india fame) is the singer to watch out for.

All in all the movie should be seen. Since its an INDIAN horror flick some people might not like it but then again its amongst the best of bollywood horror movies.

Slumdog Miliionaire - worth more than just a million

Yes I happened to see this movie.. and i am not going to review this movie and praise it from top to bottom cos its just all above it..

The movie is fantabulous( if thats a word)
It starts off amazingly well and ends with a perfect bollywood ending although it being made by a foreign director DANNY BOYLE.

The movie basically gives you a message that there are certain things that you learn in your life which are really unknown to you.
It says that each day that u live is itself a learning process for you and nothing is wasted.
True underdog.. or whatever u call it.. rags to riches story.

Depicted mumbai slums and mumbai as bollywood movie has ever done it.
Although many ppl have raised objections abt showing mumbai in a negative light but thats how it is right.
People have seen the malls the sky rises and the marine drives.. nobody has shown the largest slum in asia properly.

The performances are just mind blowing.

A special mention abt the kid JAMAL in the movie he gives a heartwarming performance.
Anil Kapoor plays a nice host with smirks and sarcasm involved referring JAMAL as chaiwala again and again.
Irfan Khan had a miniscule role but excelled there too.
the main leads DEV PATEL AND FREIDA PINTO .. are the actual stars of the movie.

and yea a special mention to the soundtrack... it deserves all the awards and da accolades..
A.R Rahman at it again..
give an ear to RINGA RING , MILLIONAIRE , JAI HO, O SAYA
supercool numbers!!

In the end the movie is a must must watch and i hope for OSCARS .. its all
JAI HO !!!!!!!..

Way to go Bro!!

18th jan... was actually a really long day for me. First i dint sleep the entire night when i had to go and drop my frnd vikram who was leaving for US..and then it was the annual day function of my bro NIKUNJ who's in boarding now in 9th grade.

We shopped for him chocolates and pastries whatever he needed and rolled for a 2 hour drive from our place to  his hostel.

I somehow like the place its so peaceful so full of greenery and amazing atmosphere cos its kinda on the hills.
The breeze was awesome and i love breezy places cos in bangur nagar not a leaf will move in the entire day forget breeze!!!..

he was performing on some of da patriotic songs..and when i first saw him after like 2 months....from a distance he wore a black pathani.. and he looked taller and had a personality of his own...

i had a feeling of pride looking at him... i always wanted him to be taller than me..and looking at the progress he'll certainly cross me..and that will certainly bring a smile on my face.

My bro he's been there and done it all.
I still remember the day when we were pushing him to go to the hostel when infact none of us wanted him to go away from us.

For the first time i saw my dad almost in tears.. my mom wasnt happy either... and I never used to get along wid him earlier but as they say the distances make ppl come closer it so happened.

I miss him a lot...

Nikunj is turning out to be an allrounder..
he's been the hostel captain.. the house vice captain...
